- Themorphologicaleffectsuponenzymaticdegradationofpoly(butylenesuccinate-co-butyleneterephthalate)s(PBST)FaxueLi*,Xin極anXu,JianyongYu,AminCaoInthiswork,theenzymaticdegradationofpoly(butylenesuccinate-co-butyleneterephthalate)(PBST)copolyesterswasstudiedusingthelipasefromPseudomonas(LipasePS).ThebiodegradationbehaviorwasfoundtostronglydependontheoverallimpactsofseveralimportantfactorsastheBTcomonomerstructureandmolarcontent,thermalcharacteristics,morphology,theenzyme-substrate,andsoforth.Further,thebiodegradedresidualfilmsampleswereallowedtobeanalyzedbymeansofgelpermeationchromatography(GPC),protonnuclearmagneticresonance(1HNMR),differentialscanningcalorimeter(DSC),smallangleX-rayscattering(SAXS),andscanningelectronmicroscope(SEM).Ontheexperimentalevidences,anexo-typemechanismofenzymaticchainhydrolysispreferentiallyoccurringintheamorphousregionwassuggestedforthePBSTfilmsamples.[詳細(xì)]

- InfluenceofaramidfibermoistureregainduringatmosphericplasmatreatmentonagingoftreatmenteffectsonsurfacewettabilityandbondingstrengthtoepoxyYuRen,ChunxiaWang,YipingQiu*Oneofthemaindifferencesbetweenalow-pressureplasmatreatmentandanatmosphericpressureplasmatreatmentisthatinatmosphere,thesubstratematerialmayabsorbsignificantamountofwaterwhichmaypotentiallyinfluencetheplasmatreatmenteffects.Thispaperinvestigateshowthemoistureabsorbedbyaramidfibersduringtheatmosphericpressureplasmatreatmentinfluencestheagingbehaviorofthemodifiedsurfaces.Kevlar49fiberswithdifferentmoistureregains(MR)(0.5,3.5and5.5%,respectively)aretreatedwithatmosphericpressureplasmajet(APPJ)withheliumasthecarriergasandoxygenasthetreatmentgas.Surfacewettabilityandchemicalcompositions,andinterfacialshearstrengths(IFSS)toepoxyforthearamidfibersinallgroupsaredeterminedusingwatercontactanglemeasurements,X-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS),andmicro-bondpullouttests,respectively.Immediatelyaftertheplasmatreatment,thetreatedfibershavesubstantiallylowerwatercontactangles,highersurfaceoxygenandnitrogencontents,andlargerIFSStoepoxythanthoseofthecontrolgroup.Attheendof30dayagingperiod,thefiberstreatedwith5.5%moistureregainhadalowerwatercontactangleandmorepolargroupsonthefibersurface,leadingto75%improvementofIFSSoverthecontrolfibers,whilethoseforthe0.5and3.5%moistureregaingroupswereonly30%.[詳細(xì)]

- PolymerplatingonAZ31magnesiumalloysurfaceandfilmevaluationofcorrosionpropertyZhixinKang,JingSang,MingShao,YuanyuanLiThepolymericthinfilmwaspreparedonthesurfaceofAZ31magnesiumalloybypolymerplatingof6-dihexylamino-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-dithiolmonosodium(DHN)inordertomodifyitssurfacefeatureandtoimproveitsanti-corrosiveproperty.Cyclicvoltammetrywasusedtostudytheelectrochemicalreactionandfilmgrowthprocessofpoly(6-dihexylamino-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-dithiol)(PDH)film,andthereactionpeaksforfilmformationandgrowthwereaffirmed.Thepolymericfilmweightwasdeterminedbyelectronicbalanceanditsinsolublefractionintetrahydrofuranwasalsomeasured.Contactanglemeterwasappliedtotestthesurfacewettabilitywithdistilledwaterdropsatambienttemperature.Itwasfoundthatthepolymer-platedAZ31alloyshowedhydrophobicpropertywithitsdistilledwatercontactangleupto117.2.TheperformancepropertyofpolymericthinfilmformedonAZ31surfacewasstudiedbypotentiodynamicpolarizationandelectrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS)inthecorrosionsolutionof3.5%NaCl.Theelectrochemicalexperimentresultsshowedthatpolymer-platedthinfilmwithhydrophobicandinsulativecharacteristicscouldprovidesurfacemodificationandaneffectiveanti-corrosiveprotectiontomagnesiumalloysubstratecomparedtotheblankone.[詳細(xì)]
