Biological charge transfer processes continue to attract attention from the scientific community due to the central importance of these mechanisms in energy cycles in living organisms (Kaim and Schewederski, 1994). Characterizing these processes 首ld lead to a better understanding of the molecular logic of life, but also to new methods of diagnosis and, eventually, therapeutical applications.
