The objective of this work was to examine the effect of samp領probe geometry on Dissolution Testing. Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) was used to examine the flow effects of two different probe types. Dissolution testing will be briefly described followed by an overview of the experimental setup. A description of PIV will be introduced along with a short description of the flow mathematics.
