This application report shows that the ICP-AES is a suitable technique for the analysis of dialysis samples. The accuracy for the major elements can be improved by using Yttrium as internal standard. Dilution is not necessary because of the argon humidifier, sheath gas and the large internal diameter of the injector available. Because of these three features, solutions with very high level of salts can be run with ease. 高性能ICP光譜儀
